Tucked away in the tranquil surrounds of the East Rand, Oxbow Country Estate offers an exquisite lakeside setting for couples who love natural beauty and elegant finishes. Its soft neutral interiors and natural light provided the ideal canvas for Criore’s floral artistry and décor vision.
The day was brought to life by the talented team at Duck Soup Productions, who captured every shimmer, bloom, and emotion in breathtaking detail.
The Design: Pastel Romance Meets Modern Luxury
The décor featured a soft pastel colour palette of blush pink, lilac, ivory, and hints of powder blue — a graceful and dreamy combination that evoked romance and refinement.
Each table was adorned with crystal glassware, gold-rimmed plates, ivory napkins, and elegant stationery printed in soft blue tones.
Tall glass candles added vertical movement and candlelight warmth, while cascading floral centrepieces of roses, delphiniums, lisianthus, and hydrangeas created that signature Criore lushness.
The sweetheart table stole the show — overflowing with hundreds of blooms and surrounded by glowing candles and statement cherry blossom trees. The custom backdrop, detailed with the couple’s initials and fine line florals, added a personal and artistic touch to the reception.
The Atmosphere
The day radiated with love and joy. Guests entered through a bespoke welcome sign framed by soft petals, setting the tone for a day that felt intimate yet grand.Under the chandeliers and soft pink uplighting, the reception transformed into a romantic dreamscape — an unforgettable reflection of elegance, creativity, and connection.
